Posing Pochard's

As i drove home in the bright afternoon sun. I passed over the Layer Breton Causeway and saw this pair of Pochard, And i just couldn't miss the photographic Opportunity.

Granted with the Curlew.

Hearing them call at night, whilst feeding out on the estuary. And seeing them most days whilst going about my daily chores. I finally realised that i still needed to add this Large wader to my collection.

Cooper's trio.

In between the showers, and with a short ray of sunlight, i took my dog for a stroll to our local patch. And knowing that there has been 2 short-eared owls seen on the on the fields between Coopers Beach & the youth camp. How surprised i was to see two owl's hunting whilst i was photographing a third bird on the ground.

One Bittern twice as shy.

Not the easiest of birds to find in the U.K, let alone in the reeds, with it's perfect camouflage.

This bird was seen at Layer breton, Abberton.
