Heard but not Seen.

As I started the walk along the track I could hear the loud ekk  ekk ekk call that this Kingfisher was making. But it wasn't until the end of the track and walk that I finally found this bird.

A bowl of Spoonbills.

While I was photographing the Fairy Wren. A bowl of Royal Spoonbills. A bowl is the collective noun for Spoonbill. Could be heard as they flew low over head and landed in a more secluded pool. It wasn't long before I managed to locate them.

Eagleby Fairy.

This Red-backed Fairy Wren was one of the first birds seen on a recent trip to the Eagleby nature reserve in Queensland, Australia.
