As I started the walk along the track I could hear the loud ekk ekk ekk call that this Kingfisher was making. But it wasn't until the end of the track and walk that I finally found this bird.
Finally got round to posting some pictures on my blog. These were taken last year whilst in Australia on a day out with Melbourne bird guide Paul Hackett. And what a great day it was. Being i only had one day for birding due to other commitments this was a must trip for me Werribee and You yangs Fantastic. A total off 102 species was seen on the day.
